Can America Drilling is seeking an experienced water well driller to operate our rig. Our office is located 50 miles east of Colorado Springs. We have drilled over 4,000 water wells through out Colorado. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: • Water well drilling experience in the State of Colorado • Understanding of the State of Colorado rules on water well drilling (You will work under the Owners license) • Ability to lead a crew of 2+ • Ability to take direction and give direction • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. • Ability to bend over • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Must have valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred, we will help you with obtaining CDL Must be able to obtain CDL within 60 days of hire) • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing • Must be able to pass background check for access to military installation projects • Must have good communication skills to talk with customers when needed • Ability to problem solve • Ability to conduct general maintenance and repair to work truck, drill rig and support equipment • Must be willing do more than just drilling, will be required to do any other work required to get the job done on any given day • Must be able to travel. May be required to be out of town for wells that are over an hour away from Simla. • Must be willing and physically able to work 40-70 per week BENEFITS: • Paid vacation • Paid sick days • Paid holidays • Retirement • Insurance: o Medical – Company pays half of employee’s premium o Dental – Paid by employee o AFLAC – Paid by employee o Life - $50,000 on employee paid by Company • $40 daily per diem when required to stay out of town (Out of town is considered from Office)(Company will cover cost of motel room. 2 guys to a room)(Tax free) • Paid from our office to job and job back to office • Starting hourly wage is significantly above minimum wage
