Today, or maybe yesterday, was your birthday. Just as today, or maybe yesterday, was my discharge date. Due to the events of August 13, 2019, which 3 years earlier was the day we met, I won't come by and wish you happy birthday to your face. I owe you an enormous apology, but my very presence will only make things worse. I still haven't seen High Fidelity, but I need to grow the fuck up.
