Oh, C. I made a big mistake walking out on you. I've been thinking lately about all the times you were there for me, like when I had the Grand Slam at Denny's and got heartburn, or when I had the Ultimate Country Fried Steak & Eggs at Shari's and got heartburn, or the time I had the Bacon Temptation Omelet at IHOP and got heartburn. I'm sorry about what I said and did at Red Lobster, leaving you to cry all alone onto a plate of Ultimate Endless Shrimp. Part of me wants to say it was the heartburn talking, but I don't want to make excuses anymore. My heart is aching tonight. Some of it is heartburn of course, but mostly I just miss you. I hope you'll be able to forgive me someday. I would love to just start over and take you out on another first date to Applebee's, where we first got to know each other over a Riblet Platter, followed by another Riblet Platter, and then of course... heartburn. -J
