Purpose Statement The Bookkeeper is responsible for all incoming sales order and credit memos ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Duties include auditing sales orders for accuracy and completion, processing bills from vendors or suppliers, creating invoices from various source documents (time records, material sales orders), assist in the monthly review of AR and AP KRO account balances, and maintaining organized financial records of all invoices and other warehouse operation documents. Candidate should possess strong computer skills and be an excellent team player. Essential Functions: -Process sales orders for all apartment homes service requests, apartment home turnover tasks, any management company product or services, and any new construction product or services -Identifying and updating incomplete or missing information on SOs, or customer accounts -Use strategy and tact when resolving past due accounts, incorrect POs/SOs or any type of billing dispute -Effectively communicate backorder or billing issues when they arise -Investigate and resolve any order or billing issue in a timely manner -Identifying and updating incomplete or missing information on -Operate order, billing, and internal software programs -Adapt to change, quickly problem solve and escalate issues as appropriate -Work to reduce and maintain an error rate of 1% or less for POs, SOs, invoices and order fulfillment accuracy -Effective communications with staff and management Qualifications and Skill: -A high school diploma or GED certificate (required) -Commercial Accounting or Bookkeeping experience (preferred)  -A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation  -Excellent communication, research, and customer service skills -Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information -Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and other ERP software -Proficiency in English -Results-driven and patient Perks: -30% housing discount -Health Benefits (medical, vision, dental) -Paid holidays -Sick days -Personal Time Off Hours -Tuition reimbursement -401K plan Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
