Swing Band Needs Musicians-Unpaid

We are a community based organization of volunteer musicians who enjoy playing classic Swing music-Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and others. We are resuming a weekly practice schedule with a goal of resuming performances in the fall, but the Covid hiatus lost us some members. All instruments welcome but we are in urgent need of bass (guitar or standup), piano, and multiple trombones. Rehearsals are Mondays evenings from 730-930. Text Pete at with the instument(s) you play for details. We typically schedule 1-2 performances a month. Our organization is also affiliated with an orchestra, a dixieland band, and a brass band, so if you have interest in those opportunities please text me. As far as your proficiency goes, our present reforming is a good opportunity to come and see where you're at and need to be. You be the judge. Playing with this group WILL improve your skills, and our performances are greatly appreciated by our audiences.
