We're seeking Skilled Laborers in Englewood, CO. Great opportunity with benefits available and potential for a long-term career! Day Shift Monday through Friday and 2-3 Saturdays per month (as needed) 40+ hours per week Skilled Laborer Job Description: Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment throughout yard Preparing automobiles for processing (i.e. removing designated parts, fluids, etc.) Assist Kiosk Operator with weighing, sorting, and moving materials Inspect incoming scrap and/or cars, advise customers of accepted/non-accepted scrap, and take deductions as needed Operate small equipment (i.e. forklift) as needed to move materials Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures, including attending safety meetings and participating in safety program Assist other employees as needed and perform all other duties as assigned by manager Requirements for Skilled Laborer: Must have at least 1 year of general labor experience (preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries) Previous experience operating Skid Loader, Skid Steer, and/or Forklift preferred. Must be able to understand and carry out written and/or verbal instructions. Must be able to communicate and deal effectively with team members at all levels. Seeking reliable individuals who can commit to work schedule and overtime as needed Must be able to perform job duties that require standing or walking for 8+ hours and working in physically intensive industrial manufacturing environment subject to inclement weather Must be willing to cross-train in other positions, assist other employees as needed, and perform all other duties as assigned by manager Additional Requirements for Skilled Laborer: Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Applicants will be subject to pre-employment drug screen Applicants may be subject to criminal background check Job Type: Full-time This is a temp-to-hire opportunity; seeking individuals looking for long-term work
