Amazing dogs waiting at Wake County Shelter

Description

I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and wanted to post about the amazing dogs we have that are waiting for homes. We have just about every breed, size, color you could want. Many of our dogs have been waiting alone in a kennel for months for the right family to come along. Through no fault of their own, they found themselves homeless and would like to be part of a family again. These dogs are very special and have quickly stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers. I help visitors every weekend with meet and greets and they are amazed at the wonderful dogs we have and how good natured they are. These dogs have sat in a small cement kennel alone for weeks, just waiting to go home. They would love a soft bed and loving family to be with. Photo gallery is below.
