We are seeking general labor production workers. This is an immediate opportunity for General Labor in Merced, CA. You will be trained to do general light labor tasks in screen printing and embroidery. We are looking for hardworking and dependable individuals who are quick learners and can perform assigned tasks. Employment type: Full-Time Hourly pay of $14.00 per hour. Start date: Immediate upon hire or up to 30 days Se habla Espaňol Qualifications: • Ability to work in a fast printing production environment • Become a productive and dependable team member while learning a valuable trade • Must be able to meet the physical demands for the job (stand, bend, twist and lift from 30-50 lbs.) • Work in hot and cold environments (the production area is not climate controlled) • Willingness to work in any area that is needed • Secure reliable transportation to and from work • Must be able to work independently • Pass a criminal background check • Follow all safety protocols deemed necessary by management • Previous manufacturing experience at least 1 year, but NOT required • Good attendance • Be able to work weekends and overtime if needed • Attention to detail is a must and have the ability to identify colors • Have basic math skills and be able to follow instructions • Advance from within the company. Adept production assistants can be quickly promoted to an open press operator position. Job Responsibilities may include: -Assisting press operators with set ups and tear downs -Preparing screens for printing -Staging garment inventory, inks, and screens for printing -Finishing and Quality Control of orders by catching, counting, inspecting, folding and packaging printed goods -Preparing screens for reclaim / reclaiming screens -Some light janitorial work (cleaning equipment, floors, bathroom, trash removal) We are an equal opportunity employer.
