$25.00 ea. 5 month old Axolotl babes ready to be re-homed, at 5 inches long they are quickly outgrowing their nursery tank! Parents are True Wilds. Mom has Green Florescent Proteins in her tail, has Jade Green eyes and; deep red gills. Dad is dark grey with deep purple gills and black eyes. I have: 2 Golden Albinos: 1 is a creamsicle orange color with magenta colored gills. 1 is a light butter gold color with deep pink gills. Both have white speckles all over their bodies. There are: 4 Wilds with their own unique markings, and inherited levels of Green Florescent Protein: 1 is a deep military green coloring w/ beautiful leopard print markings and deep purple gills and; bright green eyes 1 is a bright green coloring w/ purple gills and GFP thru-out body w/ bright green eyes and glows neon green in blue light 1 is more brown than green w/ reddish purple gills, green eyes and a wide silver band around his mid section and also has the GFP gene 1 is a true wild, grey body, grey gills, black eyes. *Currently eating worm and shrimp pellets; turtle sticks, daphnia *They require 20 gal minimum tank, long is better than deep as they don't need 'deep' water, but do like to swim *Do not use typical aquarium gravel, large river rocks or sand. *Do not use hang-on-the-back filters as this creates a current that will stress them, use under gravel filters or sponge filters to maintain calm water. *Do not use a heater! Will need to keep water temps at 70 or below, the cooler the better. Think 'lake water' habitat Please do your research before adopting.
