This is an amazing smart border collie mixed with Aussie (all black and a little white) I have raised Charlie since he was 12 weeks. He is 7 now, obedient, voice-trained, leads with or without a leash He is a mouser/patrol/watch dog, he needs a Large Space with many outbuildings where he can constantly keep watch for mice/rats/vermin and intruders. He runs his laps consistently and is watchful and trustworthy. He will not be happy unless he has a job to do :) acreage running free (preferably day and night) He is very friendly with adults, he gets snappy when small children get close, I do not recommend him to anyone with kids He loves to perform tricks Jolly and joyful personality as long as he has his freedom. New Owner will have to promise he will never be tied or caged Charlie will only go to a FARM or ACREAGE or GROUNDs (fenced if by road)- that needs his consistent energy, and his hunting prowess. he is such a useful little man and loves to do his work faithfully Also, he loves water, would be great to take hunting for ducks etc. He can fetch, carry, be gentle, heal on command completely voice trained, needs nothing but praise. This is a really important person in our family and he is just needing his SPACE and the chance to be himself - we just moved from Seattle and he hates apartment life in the city here.
