Employment Status: Full Time Our Dishwasher will perform a variety of services in the kitchen area such as dish washing, basic food prep, linen prep, food storage, general kitchen cleaning and, as assigned, they may also perform bus services in the main or auxiliary dining rooms. Work is performed within confined kitchen quarters with high temperatures. Work schedules include coverage of a three meal a day, seven day a week operation. This shift is full-time, with weekends included. At Wake Robin, all positions start at $15.00 an hour and up. Wake Robin believes in supporting a livable wage for all Vermonters. Knowledge and Abilities Skilled in use of all standard industrial kitchen cleaning equipment. Ability to read and understand English Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months kitchen or food prep experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Capabilities Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs of various food supplies and equipment. Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activity requiring considerable use of arms, and whole body motions including lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to work standing for extended periods in hot environment off of 34” high surfaces. Must be able to carry loaded trays between kitchen and dining room. Must be able to operate a variety of large kitchen equipment including power operated equipment with sharp, fast moving blades. Wake Robin is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
