Description
Hi community,
Ever wonder why a dog is called a "doodle"?
The slang term doodle references dogs who are cross bred between a Poodle, (different sizes), and another dog breed.
(Also see similar terms: Oodles and Poos, such as Schnoodles, Yorkiepoos, and Cockapoos.)
Many people associate the word doodle twith Labradoodle and Goldendoodle. In essence, the term doodle references a mixed cross of any dog breed with a Poodle.
Doodle is not a registered trade mark of a certain mixed breeding of two dogs.
Just as there are many dogs who are called a "doodle", there are many reasons a person chooses to cross two breeds.
Familiar proverb of the day:
You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar means that it is much easier to get what you want by being polite rather than by being rude and insolent.
