New to area, any good bands?

I'm new to the area, and want to know if there are any good venues to play at when I get my band put together. Are there any that are indoors, that have good musicians who may be looking to get into another project? I play the keys, drums and bass as well as lead vocals. I am not interested in doing that karaoke duet or solo stuff I've been seeing since I got to the area. That's not what I want to do, I want to have people to gig with, not looking for drama, or drugs or sex, but musicians. Does anyone know where that is possible?
