NEEDED: Worship Musicians

Small congregation in desperate need of volunteer musicians of all types. Our previous music leader moved and accompanist passed away; COVID hit our ranks hard; then our facilities on the east side of Columbus, MS were burned by an arsonist. We meet in chapel "borrowed" with a traditional piano and organ on loan but no one to play them or to lead the singing. And we typically sing hymnal songs or well-known easy choruses. Our pastor tries but he is no Jimmy Swaggert, more of a Jimmy Durante or George Beverly Shea, instead more of a Curious George. We have no budget, but as we move back into our rebuilt facility we hope to grow again and be able to pay a reasonable fee, but until then this is volunteer. The pastor is actually a former music teacher so he can help young musicians.
