We are one of the West Coast’s leading low voltage wire and cable distributors with an opening for a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk in our Hayward, California branch. Position Summary: The position is for order picking, packing, restocking, trailer unloading, receiving, data entry, shipping, and customer service. Requirements: Have 1 year of warehouse or related experience. Must possess customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Knowledge of shipping/receiving utilizing UPS, FedEx, and LTL software. Candidate must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and deadline-driven. Must be a team player, able to work well individually, or in a group. Computer knowledge required: Data entry, Excel, Microsoft Office, and the internet. Must have forklift experience. Prefer forklift certification. Maintain a safe and clean work environment; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Ability to twist, turn, kneel, bend, stoop, and climb a ladder. Must complete a background check and drug compliance test.
