Love dogs? Be a part of our pack! We currently have full time or part time kennel technician and dog bather positions available. We are looking for hardworking individuals with pawsitive attitudes who excel in a fast paced environment with a structured schedule and a passion for dogs. Kennel pack members are not only required to keep the kennels clean and safe by following written daily tasks and guidelines but are also required to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds. All candidates must be physically fit, able to lift at least 40 lbs. and perform all cleaning tasks, feeding and exercising of the dogs as well as one-on-one play times, (with the dogs, not other pack members!) Experienced bathers are preferred but we will consider training the right individual. Bathers are paid on a commission plus tips basis with a guaranteed base wage. Bathers can work in the kennel when they are not needed in our grooming salon for extra income if desired. Kennel work is performed indoors and outdoors, so bear in mind the Stockton climate. You must have your own reliable transportation. We are interested in employees who can work weekdays and weekends for shifts between the hours of 7:30am – 6:30pm and require them to be available for work during all holiday periods. Usually we can work around school or second job schedules. For kennel technicians, dog handling and/or kennel experience is not required but will be considered a bonus. Compensation is $15/hour and up. Benefits include a flexible schedule, sick pay benefits (after 90 days of employment), and pay raises based on performance not seniority.
