Description

Hello there! Nice to meet you. My name is Sara; I'm in my mid-twenties and am looking for a part-time gig walking dogs! I only want to walk a few hours a week as opposed to working full-time for a company. If you have one dog you want walked multiple times a week, or multiple dogs multiple times, or one dog one time, and so on, anything is fine with me! I have spent lots of time with pets since I was small (including cats as well), and have walked several types of dogs. I can provide references if you like. I've walked a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Boxer, a Corgi, among other little dogs. I can spend all day with dogs and just love their company! I probably have a combined 5 years of experience or so with pets, including pet-sitting. My typical profession is teaching ESL to children, especially abroad; I have a BA in Anthropology/Linguistics (Hunter College) and a 190-hour TEFL certificate and have taught English in Hong Kong, Spain, and France, as well as online. Before I finished college, I babysat/nannied for around 10 years. I am a caring and responsible person, and have the references to prove that as well! Teaching is fun, but right now I am looking for a light workload where I don't have to plan any lessons. :) I reside on the Lower East Side, but I am available to walk your dog in any neighborhood within a 30-minute subway ride (e.g. Yorkville or Williamsburg). I think $15/half hour, or $20/hour is a fair going rate from what I've seen! Do let me know if you'd like to negotiate the price. You can either e-mail me here or text me at . Thanks so much for your time and attention, and I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Sara
