Description
Tuesday Tips Live is back!!! Giveaways from V-Flat world! Guest speakers! And human to human interaction - but with more space! We're back! Same building (District), new location - giving everyone more space. No themed agenda, but we will have some guest presenters speaking at 7:30pm sharp. This 2021 kickoff is currently limited to 30 people. Donations are welcomed to help fund these events. Your support is greatly appreciated. Community over competition. That's the Tuesday Tip motto that I want to enforce. Come and connect with the creative industry - swap stories, share ideas and learn some tips. I want to extend the theme of Tuesday Tips beyond social media in order to build a more personal connection. While the topics will primarily be photo and video related, there's many aspects of the creative arts that will be touched upon. Event doors open at 6:30, @stevewalterphoto on instagram for updates via stories. The event will be held at in the comcast lounge - aka the enter of the District building. Enter in the main doors - Suite 000. Park in the back (near The Stack restaurant) of the District building for more direct access to the entrance. Father, husband and artist. Steve Walter graduated with high honors and a degree in visual communication. Working as an art director for almost a decade, moved toward a photographic career for the past 9 years. A combination of the two backgrounds has allowed him to create some compelling imagery that in many ways combines the best of both worlds. A solid foundation of studio work as well as on location, Steve uses the tools necessary to create visually impactful imagery that is not limited to any one method. Steve has a passion for teaching and loves “talking shop”. His first teaching job, Steve was hired by the same school he had just graduated from in 2005. After working there for 2 years, he later gained formal training as an instructor by Apple Inc. where he taught customers in-store about Apple software and hardware products for the better part of 6 years. Join him for a workshop and he’ll share all the things he’s learned in the almost combined 20 years of creative work.
