Outdoor screening of To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar with opening performance by DeMarcio's Jukebox Drag Show Sunset Cinema is back and moving to Sculpture Park! This summer, we have a great lineup of films made possible by Denver Film and pre-show entertainment presented by some fantastic local groups. All events are FREE and suitable for the whole FAMILY. Doors open at 6 p.m. with local food trucks on site curated by Mile High Festivals. Opening performances hit the stage at 7 p.m. Films begin at dusk. Bring your chairs, blankets, family and friends down to Sculpture Park at the Arts Complex and enjoy the show! THE FILM: PG-13 | 1h 56min. Elite Manhattan drag queens Vida Boheme (Patrick Swayze) and Noxeema Jackson (Wesley Snipes) impress regional judges in competition, securing spots in the Nationals in Los Angeles. When the two meet sad drag novice Chi-Chi Rodriguez (John Leguizamo), the charmed Vida and Noxeema agree to take the hopeless youngster under their joined wing. Soon the three set off on a madcap road trip across America and struggle to make it to Los Angeles in time. THE PERFORMANCE: Dazzling entertainment featuring Denver's most amazing Drag Queen performers, hosted by Denver PRIDE emcee DeMarcio. JUKEBOX DRAG will be an electric explosion of premier drag, with incredible dancers, memorable music and fierce female illusion – geared for all ages.
