Welcome to our 3rd event of 2021! We will be back IN PERSON for this event, with live pitches! Our new event space is Wunderkammer. At each SOUP dinner there are four presentations on projects ranging from art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology and more. We are a micro-grant dinner that fosters community & raises funds for creative projects that enhance Fort Wayne living. All ages are welcome to attend and submit proposals. We encourage everyone in the community to participate in anyway they can! You will be asked for a $5 ticket purchase per attendee at the door. All funds raised through door sales gets rewarded to the winner of the evenings SOUP. Doors open at 6:30 and event starts at 7PM. Each guest will be served a light dinner. Fort Wayne SOUP’s mission is to promote community-based development through crowdfunding, creativity, collaboration, democracy, trust, and fun. Fort Wayne SOUP’s vision is to empower residents, create jobs, create relationships and networks, promote action and change, foster critical dialogue, instill Fort Wayne pride, and encourage a deeper understanding of democracy. We envision changing the way people engage with the democratic process and their community through establishing key partnerships with community leaders to support SOUP, creating a self-sustaining model that neighborhoods can implement on a smaller scale, and Gaining participants from every corner of our city.
