A night where we come together to celebrate the innovation and excellence of the past 17 years of TKY teachers
Come join us for the culmination of the 2021 Summer Institute: The TKY Symposium. This event is designed to showcase the work, initiative and wisdom of veteran TKY teachers. The symposium is a reflection of the Teach Kentucky Community of Educators you are being welcomed into in Louisville. TKYers will share their deep insights and extensive experiences in the classroom to give you a tremendous head start.
Come dressed in 'snappy casual' ready to meet and greet some of the finest minds in TKY. You will mingle with Board Members, guest speakers and of course, celebrate surviving the summer with your friends from the 2020 and 2021 cohort.
The evening will begin with snacks and mingling and then transition to guest speakers sharing their innovative and creative ideas in and around the classroom. Take this important opportunity to network, learn and get your creative juices flowing.
Hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. In addition, there is traditionally an "after symposium" gathering for more extended conversations at another location.
Dress code is professional dress attire. Men wear collared shirts/button downs and khakis/dress pants and dress shoes. No tee shirts. No jeans. No sneakers. Women to wear formal pants and shirts or smart dresses.
