The Custer Oasis is proud to present Evanston's premier funk band for a real, good time! Chicken Bone (featuring the Boney Horns) is the ultimate party band. Calling Evanston home base, Chicken Bone delivers funky r&b music for your soul. Set lists include hits and hidden nuggets from Sly & the Family Stone, Isley Brothers, Black Joe Lewis, Curtis Mayfield, Van Morrison, Dee-Lite, Rolling Stones, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Meters, Dr. John, Fat Elvis and more. About the show! Due to Covid, we're selling 1-2, 3-4, and 4-6 person tables so that vaccinated pods can safely sit together without a mask. Individual tickets can be had too--you'll get a chair, but not a table, and we ask that you socially distance your chair from others. There will be a booth selling beer and Margaritas via La Principal, and a booth selling wine, beer, and frosé via The Wine Goddess. Pre-order your Wine Goddess cheese board and/or charcuterie board for snacks during the show (La Principal's kitchen will be closed), and book a table at Trattoria DOC for after the concert: call them at 847-475-1111 (Trattoria DOC will be the only Custer Oasis restaurant open for service after the "Sundays at The Oasis" Live Music sessions).
