Looking for a motivated ground crew member to assist with residential and commercial tree work in the Juneau area, and sometimes remote locations and neighboring communities. Skills should include the following but would be willing to train the right candidate: - Ability to lift and haul heavy rounds, logs, and brush piles throughout an 8 hr.+ work day - Ability to operate a chainsaw and knowledge on maintenance and safety - Knowledge of rigging i.e. knots, pulleys, etc. - Tree felling and cutting experience - Able to work 5-7 days a week 8 or more hours a day (schedule is variable, must be flexible) - Punctual - Positive attitude - Alert and aware of surroundings
