Description

Now that things are opening up I am looking to get a serious band together with a goal of collaborating, getting some songs together and playing out. Long term goal is hitting the festival circuits in New England. I am a seasoned young 42 year old lead/rhythm guitar player with great gear and strong vocals. I am reliable, punctual and have reliable transportation. Ideally, I want to get another guitarist who can tackle lead and rhythm as well, a bass player, a creative keyboard player, and a solid drummer. Even a solid front man if the sound is great. But I am open. Vocal harmonies are always a huge plus. Be confident and strong in your playing, and solid at what you do. You don't need to be a virtuoso, but be honest about where you're at. My major influences and what's mostly currently spinning is: the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, the Grateful Dead, the Hard Working Americans, Circles Around the Sun, Allman Betts Band, Pacific Range, JGB, Petty, NRPS...you get the point. Other respected artists I like a lot are Steve Young (1969), Otis Redding, John Prine, Clapton, the Band, Tedeschi Trucks, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Little Feat, the Black Crowes and of course Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. The list is nearly endless...does your list match up a bit? 420 friendly but making music is the king here. Let's strive to have a real good time and be tight. But you gotta' have that drive. Please send me links or examples of your playing and I will do the same. I will respond, but it needs to be based on some of your samples or I have no idea what you really do. Even if you record something on your phone. Thanks for checking out the ad.
