Join YWCA Central Maine as we honor women’s successes in Maine through our biennial Women Of Achievement Awards event The YWCA Central Maine Women of Achievement Awards event was founded in 2015 to recognize the powerful leadership and impact of women in Maine. The awards program recognizes professional and volunteer accomplishments of Maine women in the fields of leadership, service, philanthropy, and social justice. Award nominations are open to our full community, and honorees reflect diverse fields of expertise, ages, and cultures of women in Androscoggin County and the larger State of Maine. The Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon is not only a uniquely powerful celebration of women leaders, it is also an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the YWCA’s work in Maine.
