Results Tree and Landscape Inc. in The Woodlands, Texas is seeking an ambitious LICENSED IRRIGATOR. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot, repair and adjust irrigation systems Interact professionally and effectively with area supervisor and landscape designer and assist them with supplemental watering needs to sustain plant health Program irrigation clocks to accommodate maintenance work schedules, operation hours, programs and events Maintain a continuous operational irrigation system ensuring all safety standards, applicable permits, local codes and state regulations are met Document assessment and inspections of new, existing, and modified systems regularly to ensure the most efficient and optimal operations REQUIRED SKILLS: Texas Irrigation License is required Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience Have a strong working knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, and applicable materials, products, and equipment Must be able to troubleshoot, inspect and repair irrigation systems Must have basic irrigation design knowledge for new installations Must be able to speak, read and write English, read a variety of work orders, equipment manuals, and etc. Requires the ability to prepare records using prescribed formats Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Have the ability to communicate effectively by telephone and face to face situations High School diploma or GED A good driving record and valid Driver’s License are required Any experience with the operations and maintenance of water display features, lakes and ponds is a bonus. Work may be subject to time pressures, emergency situations, noisy or distracting environment, working closely with others as part of a team, working alone 65% or more of the time, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and frequent changes to tasks.
