Hugapalooza! is a free, kid-centered sing-along concert put on by KidLinks as a way to say thank you to the community for supporting us. Hugapalooza! is a free, kid-centered sing-along concert put on by KidLinks as a way to say thank you to the community for supporting us. KidLinks' generous supporters make our mission of linking kids to healing, hope and happiness through music and media come to life. This year's Hugapalooza! will be LIVE and IN PERSON! Date: Sunday, August 15, 2021 Time: 2:30-3:30pm Location: Rosewood Center for Family Arts (Studio Theater) 5938 Skillman Street Dallas, TX 75231 Bring your kiddos, grandchildren, neighbors and friends! This event is recommended for children developmental ages 4 and up. Light refreshments will be served after the show. Masks and social distancing between families are highly encouraged. The Hugapalooza! lineup features Jim Newton and Paul G. Hill with Bill Hudson on lead guitar, Gina Glidewell and a few surprise guests! The event will be full of music and activities for kids meant to make you feel better, make you feel special, make you feel happy, but most importantly, make you feel like you are getting a big wonderful HUG! We hope you can come and join in on the fun! By registering for Hugapalooza!, you are consenting to KidLinks use of photos and videos taken at the event. KidLinks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides healing, hope and happiness for children and families through therapeutic music entertainment and music therapy programs. For more than three decades, impacting more than 375,000 children and caregivers, KidLinks has provided healing experiences for the special needs of children through performing arts and media, funded therapeutic music initiatives, university-level music therapy training and free/low cost treatment programs for children in need. KidLinks is changing the face of therapeutic music entertainment for patients and families in hospitals across North Texas and beyond and has already served more than 75,000 children in local hospitals and care centers. Funds raised directly support the growth of these direct services and the creation of content that can improve the daily experiences of hospitalized and special needs children when they need it most, as well as provide educational resources for the adults who care for them.
