Snourcing 101 Foundational Reinforcement- In Air Conditioning!
Snourcing 101 focuses on increasing the dog’s motivation to source and independence to search. Handler focus includes observation and timing skills, tightening up alerts or Trained Final Responses (TFR) while working your own dog and observing or helping others. Taught by Pete Stevens, this hands on workshop will give you the opportunity to try new things including Pete’s scent wall, imprinting tubes, and detection training boxes.
You may have attended a Snourcing Workshop in the past, but just like all training, it is a perishable skill and needs to be kick started from time to time. Bring back that desire to hunt and get to source! The K9 team should be able to recognize the sport odors of anise, birch, and clove.
***This venue has air conditioning and has enough space for separate air conditioned crate room!!***
