Advanced Live Coaching Interior/Elements in AC- Pasadena, Ca The Scentsable K9 is excited to announce Advanced Live Coaching for Interior and Container Elements! Live Coaching allows you to decide how you want to conduct your searches to suit your specific training goals. Each team gets to pick how their search is run such as; known locations, known amount, blind, and what seems to be everyone's favorite style - "The Life Line" which is helping out when you ask for it. Advanced Live Coaching searches are geared towards higher performance level K9 teams. Searches could consist of various odor threshold levels, packaging, distractions, elevations, and controlled negatives aka "blank room". Each team receives both verbal and written feedback to help you keep track of your training. Video recording of your searches is HIGHLY encouraged. The K9 team should be able to recognize the sport odors of anise, birch, and clove. ***This venue has air conditioning and has enough space for separate air conditioned crate room!!*** Your instructor, Pete Stevens, is a retired 31 year law enforcement veteran with 20 of those years working in K9. He has personally handled 4 police K9's. Pete is a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (CA POST) K9 Team Evaluator for patrol and narcotics detection, a Board Member and Certifying Official for the California Narcotic Canine Association (CNCA). Pete is also a NACSW Trial Judge. Pete is the President and Lead Trainer at The Scentsable K9 which has conducted over 100 detection seminars and workshops.
