The Harlem Brew South - Smokestack Blues Festival™ is a Two Day celebration of Blues music featuring live performances and master classes. Our goal in presenting the Smokestack Blues Festival is to pay homage to Blues heritage and encourage new alliances between Blues, Roots and Jazz performers, scholars, communities and music lovers. Whether train tracks or music tracks, these long standing music routes (and roots) — including highways, skyways and foodways, have connected and inspired us for generations. It went on to co-produce the inaugural Blacktober Beer Fest, again highlighting Black Brew Culture in the historic City of Rocky Mount, NC. The inaugural Smokestack Blues Festival celebrates Piedmont Blues and Jazz heritage complimented by great beer, food (BBQ) and art!
