Arguably the most highly anticipated campus tradition, registration to be a part of our parade is here! The Committee is thrilled about the upcoming events this year and has a very exciting week in store for everyone. We are celebrating Annual Dakota Days. In order to have an incredible Dakota Days, we continue to emphasize the University-Community relationship by getting the community involved with our student groups as part of the Dakota Days parade as well as through our homecoming events which will be posted on the website as they become available. Key Parade Information: - The parade will begin Saturday, October 2nd, 2019 at 9:00 am. - Check in will be at the corner of S. Norbeck St. and E. Main St. o To be eligible for judging, please check-in by 7:30 a.m.  Judging will begin at 8:00 a.m. o Non-judged floats should be checked in by 8:30 a.m. - Parade begins on the corner of Main St. and Prentis Ave. and ends at the corner of Main St. and Washington St. - You must create your own design and provide your own supplies. - ALL parade regulations (listed below) must be followed. Parade Registration Form: - Registration forms can be found below - Registrations are due Friday, September 24th, 2021 by 5pm o All non-student registrations must include a $10 registration fee o Student registrations are exempt from the registration fee Arguably the most highly anticipated campus tradition, Dakota Days devotes an entire week to showcasing the pride and school spirit that define life at USD. The homecoming festivities take place every October and boast plenty of events for students, alumni and individuals of all ages.
