Water Mitigation Lead Technician

We are looking for a presentable, drug free employee who will keep busy and show up to work every day. Must be able to pass a drug test and have a valid driver’s license. Hiring a skilled technician to support the cleanup and restoration of water and mold damaged residential and commercial buildings. Technicians are required to follow established safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Major responsibilities include: • Removal of water and mold damaged building materials • Treatment and removal of mold growth from residential and commercial buildings • Setting up of air movers and dehumidifiers in order to remediate and dry buildings • Set up and maintain drying chambers in water damaged buildings and homes • Document moisture meter readings of water and mold damaged buildings. Skills must include: • 2+ years of experience in all aspects of disaster restoration including but not limited to, water damage, fire damage, asbestos, and mold remediation • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced work environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills required • Ability to perform medium to heavy lifting and moving • Effective time management skills Preferred, but not required: • IICRC certification in Fire, Water, Asbestos, and Mold Restoration. • OSHA training Job requires to be on call due to 24/7 response industry in a rotated schedule for overtime hours. Hourly pay depending on skills and experience. Insurance after 90 days.
