Join us for a fulfilling yoga practice at the Community Gardens!
July is BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Mental Health Awareness Month. This year's theme is " Strength in Communities." Yoga is a powerful tool for mental wellbeing. We invite you to come to the Shelby County Community Garden Activity Space (near row 9) located at 6265 Gardener Road for "Rooted and Grounded", a nurturing, beginner-friendly outdoor yoga class for all levels. Gather your family, grab your mat, your water and meet us for a practice of gentle stretching, mindful breathing and connecting with the earth. Relaxation for your mind, your body and your soul.
The class is sponsored by the Shelby County Parks & Neighborhoods Department in partnership with Jacqueline E. Oselen, certified yoga teacher and holistic life coach.
