Free Firearms Safety Training Class Every 3 seconds in America ... a firearm saves a life, takes a life ... and/or lands someone prison. The massive increase of U.S. citizens’ firearms ownership, has also lead to increasing incidents of negligent discharges, unlawful firearms handling, and subsequent arrests. Georgia Weapons Carry License applicants ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ACHIEVE ANY EDUCATION, TRAINING or LEGAL ADVISE as a condition of licensing approval or firearms purchases. (We think that is a problem) To overcome “cost objection” and maximize participation, there is no fee associated with attending this class. Introduction F.A.S.T. is a community enrichment program of the Education Council on Personal Safety & Security, (ECOPSS) Incorporated. Established in 2009, ECOPSS is a non-profit, crime prevention education and training company. Mission The objective of the Community F.A.S.T. program is to reduce personal injury, property damage and criminal charges arising from inappropriate interactions with a firearm. Community F.A.S.T. will provide you with the knowledge, skill and attitude, to become a fully responsible firearms owner.
