PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk County police released images on Tuesday, in hopes of developing information on the identities and locations of a pair of men who used a stolen credit card in Patchogue, Bellport, and Middle Island back in May.
The men used stolen credit cards to purchase items from multiple businesses including 7-Eleven on Main Street in Patchogue, and well as the Shell Gas Station there, and The Home Depot in Bellport, and Walmart in Middle Island, police said. The crime has been classified grand larceny by detectives, but police did not immediately release what type of items the pair purchased, or how much they were worth.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest, and detectives are asking anyone with information about the incidents to call the confidential hotline at 1-800-220-TIPS.
Tipsters can also use a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential.
