BROOKLYN, NY — A person was hit by a train at the Barclays Center station on Tuesday afternoon, according to the MTA.
The MTA sent out an alert that a person was hit at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station just after noon, according to their Twitter.
Police and medical personnel were responding to the incident, according to the tweet.
The incident delayed southbound 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains and had the last stop on southbound 5 trains switched to Bowling Green. The trains resumed around 1:30 p.m., but transit officials said straphangers should still expect some delays.
The FDNY did not immediately respond to a request for details about the incident.
