U.S. Rep. Moulton To Push Infrastructure Jobs Plan On North Shore

SALEM, MA — U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton will push the benefits of proposed federal infrastructure and jobs legislation at a series of stops along the North Shore on Wednesday. Moulton will meet with members of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce at the Salem Waterfront Hotel Wednesday morning where he plans to speak about the need for Congress to pass the American Jobs Plan and will then spend the afternoon visiting proposed infrastructure projects in the region. His office said the benefits of high-speed rail and its effects on fighting climate change will be heavy focus of his remarks to the Chamber. Moulton is scheduled to meet with the Trustees of Reservation on the Argilla Road Project at Ipswich's Crane Beach and tour the Central Street Bridge and Culvert Replacement Project site in Manchester later in the day. The Chamber program will also be presented via Zoom from 8 to 9 a.m. for those who cannot attend in person. Tickets to participate via Zoom are $10 for Chamber members and $25 for nonmembers.
