SALEM, MA — The summer and fall festival circuit's return to Salem after a year hiatus got another boost with the announcement of the Food Truck Festivals of America event at Salem Common on Sept. 25 and 26.
The Second Salem Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival is set to include dozens of regional and national craft brewers along with area food trucks. Admission is free to the rain-or-shine events with beer and food items available for purchase.
The tentative list of attendees includes more than three dozen food trucks and 15 breweries and wineries. It is scheduled to run from noon until 6 p.m.
Non-refundable discount beer packages will be available and can be used over the two days. Salem State students with college IDs and proof of 21+ are eligible for $1 off each beer ticket.
The event is billed as "family-friendly" with leashed dogs allowed and lawn chairs encouraged. Cash and credit are accepted inside the beer tent and at most vendors.
