Description

BURLINGTON, MA — National Grid will replace what one of their construction supervisors called a "critical" gas main in Middlesex Turnpike from Wheeler Road to South Avenue over the course of about three months. The company got approval in Monday night's Select Board meeting. The replacement will increase the size and capacity of the main, work made necessary due to the recent additions to the Burlington Mall. The main also serves Burlington residents. The project will take about 90 days to complete, with work going from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday, except for holidays. There are not expected to be traffic impacts.
