Description
Having to rehome my loving, rat hunting cat. She is a strange one, but very loyal, loving to humans and will definitely put a dent in any rat or mouse issues you may have in your backyard.
I’ve had her since I adopted her as a kitten from the SPCA. She is about 6 years old, and does not do well with *most* other female cats. She does very well with male cats from what I've observed. She loves my older Siamese, as pictured, but is not a fan of my other younger cat. Does fine with dogs as long as they’re not too rowdy.
She MUST be outdoor/indoor. She prefers to spend a lot of time outside hunting- like most of oakland we have rats in our neighborhood and she loves to hunt mice and rats- she must be able to still do this and would do best at a home with a large backyard, or a large lot nearby (we live next to a vacant lot and she spends much of her time there)
She is incredibly affectionate, and loves to cuddle and is very much a lap cat. Does well sleeping in bed with people, but also won’t freak out if she’s not allowed in the bedroom at night.
I’m having a hard time with this decision to rehome her, but we recently adopted a lovebird and her hunting instinct is much to strong, and would love to see her go to a home with a bit more outdoor space than we currently have. She’s a really great cat to the right home.
There will be a very small rehoming fee to make sure that she goes to a home that will care for her.
