Description
Thanks for checking this out.
I'm looking to work with a poet or poetess who likes to sing, around lyric writing and singing for some songs I'm putting together.
I want the sound of the vocals to sound athletic and not like they're being sung sitting down.
I care more about the sound of soul versus the sound of technique.
Ranging from pretty quiet and serious to loud and uninhibited. Never thrashy or hard to listen to.
Unattached to any song structure or how it should be- but still catchy.
Replacements' attitude, Kerouac's vision, Clash's importance, Big Audio Dynamite's boombox excitement, Smiths' tenderness and humor, Thomas Wolfe's grasp of the human condition, Cure's Disintegration demos, Jawbreaker's blasting sound.
I don't want to work with someone who is having drug or alcohol problems.
I'm open to working with youngsters-oldsters; I'm in between.
