Description
Legendary Stratford baseball enthusiast and Stratford High School Head Coach Mickey Buckmir and the entire Stratford High coaching staff in cooperation with the Stratford Police Athletic League will be holding their fifth year of baseball camp where youngsters will learn the finer points of fielding, throwing, base running, and hitting.
The dedicated coaching staff (All Volunteering their time) of Skip Lance, Jim Sarantides, Jose Escobar, as well as numerous Stratford Police Officers will lead the way in providing a fun filled time of baseball instruction from basic baseball fundamental drills to advanced techniques. Also appearing will be guest instructors.
The camp will start on Monday August 2nd and will run until Friday August 6th. There will be two daily sessions with the first session starting at 8:15 am until 10:00 am for incoming first through fifth graders.
The second session will run from 9:45 am until 1:00 pm for incoming sixth to ninth graders.

The camp will take place at the historical Penders Field at Longbrook Park. As the camp gets closer updates will be provided to the Stratford Patch.
