Proceeds from this event will go to student scholarships in the areas of STEM The North Alabama NSBE Professionals is proud to host the 6th NSBE Golf Tournament. Proceeds from this event will go to support local students within the Huntsville/Madison area to receive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) scholarships through our NSBE Scholarship Programs. 7:00am Hole Assignment/Check-in 7:45am Opening Remarks, Rules and Announcements 8:00am Shotgun Start Lunch and Awards Ceremony after tournament Team MULLIGANS purchased day of tournament (3 mulligans & 1 Power Drive - $20) Contact: 256-682-2909 or email [email protected] The N AL NSBE-AE was chartered in November 1990. The organization began in order to increase minority participation and excellence in the fields of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The organization has implemented several programs in the community to accomplish this goal. The programs include college and pre-college tutorial services, working with the local schools system, sponsoring workshops in order to educate the community on topics dealing with engineering and applied science, and hosting activities of the National Society of Black Engineers Junior Chapter (NSBE Jr.) Our chapter has established College Initiative relationships with NSBE Collegiate Chapters at Alabama A&M University, University of Alabama in Huntsville and Oakwood University. The Professionals chapter has shown steady growth since the beginning and additional programs will be implemented in the coming year.
