Description

PRINCETON, NJ — Warby Parker is opening a new store in Palmer Square, Princeton on Saturday. This is the company's fifth location in New Jersey. The new store features artwork by illustrator Julia Rose Barnes. The NJ native has created a special mural for the location which depicts two friendly readers before a mystical backdrop with flowers, birds, and glasses. "Having been born and raised in New Jersey, I was ecstatic about having the opportunity to create an illustration for Warby Parker's new Princeton location," Barnes said in a statement. "My main focus was to convey the sense of exploration and charm that both Warby and the state have in common." To celebrate the opening, the store is also having a book release – "The Alphabet of Art," a compilation of artwork by over 100 artists. During opening weekend, the store will be offering customers a voucher for a complimentary scoop of ice cream from The Bent Spoon. The new store will carry optical and sun eyewear, lens cleaning kits, and various new eyewear collections.
