Position Objective: This position is responsible for daily shipping and receiving and warehouse support at the branch level. This position reports to the Branch Manager. Essential Functions: •Complete daily forklift maintenance checklist and ensure all scheduled maintenance activities are completed on time. •Daily shipping and receiving including processing packing slips, stocking shelves, pulling parts for shipment, and prepare product for shipment. •Stand in as backup driver for deliveries. •Monitor inventory and perform cycle counts. •Perform basic inquiries into ERP system. •Understand shipping vendor software and associated paperwork. •Perform other duties as required by supervisor. Experience and Abilities Required: •Ability to operate a forklift is preferred. •Ability to stand for entire shift. •Ability to move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling. •Ability to work unscheduled overtime. •Experience in basic mechanical work and machinery is preferred. •Experience in application of basic math.
