Job description Provide detailed cleaning of hospital administrative offices, common areas and EVS clinical areas. Ability to deep clean around furniture, fixtures and equipment. This is a phenomenal opportunity to learn the Environmental Services Commercial Cleaning business within the healthcare industry. Possible long term assignment for individuals who have had previous training experience and supervisory experience managing a team workers. Looking for someone that desires to advance their career with increased responsibility into potential management positions. Must effectively ensure all cleaning and other assignments are completed in a timely, safe and orderly manner. Job duties for the EVS Housekeeping include, but are not limited to: Cleaning patient rooms and department areas Cleaning offices Cleaning various types of floors Vacuuming and cleaning carpet Assist in other duties as needed throughout the facility Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash. Handles and cleans up emergency spills per department guidelines Operates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures. Maintains work and storage areas following established policy and procedures to ensure safety. Uses supplies appropriately and effectively. Reports problems with equipment and facility in an appropriate and timely manner. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour New PPE is provided at the beginning of each shift.
