**To apply, please see instructions at the bottom of the advertisement ** Mather based IT Asset Management company is looking for a Recycling Technician – ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) to identify and disassemble computers, network equipment and other electronics for reuse/recycling. Job Description: • Identifies, sorts reusable computers, electronic equipment, and components for resale. • Breaks down pallets of customer IT Assets and sort into various hardware types. • Disassembles desktop computers, laptops, and other electronics devices to retrieve parts for reuse. • Organizes and maintains incoming inventory, current inventory, and outgoing inventory. • Cleans reusable IT hardware before refurbishing. • Diagnostics – tests computers, laptops, and other IT Hardware, components, and peripherals for function. • Enters Data in online inventory system. • Assists Shipping personnel with preparing and packaging of resalable equipment. • Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. Qualifications: • High School education or GED required; Degree in Information Technology or equivalent IT Certification is preferred. • Break-fix experience like a Geek Squad agent or computer repair shop technician is preferred. • Hands-on experience working with computers. • Basic knowledge of desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and other IT equipment is preferred. • Knowledge of Apple products is a plus. • Forklift and pallet jack driving experience is a plus. • Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines. • Able to lift and transport of moderately heavy computers and other electronic units. • Able to operate tools, warehouse and material handling equipment. • Able to work in a warehouse environment. • Must be able to pass the Drug Test and Background Check. • Hours of operation: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday).
