VALLEY CENTER, CA — A brush fire destroyed a structure and a vehicle Monday afternoon in Valley Center. The blaze, called the Gabriel Fire, sparked near San Gabriel Way, east of Couser Canyon Road, according to Cal Fire San Diego. The fire scorched three acres before crews halted the flames, according to Cal Fire. The blaze destroyed an outbuilding and an RV. No injuries were reported. "Firefighters will continue strengthening containment over the next several hours," Cal Fire said on Twitter. .@NorthCountyFire is supporting @vcfpd with a vegetation fire in the area of the 11100 block of San Gabriel Way in Valley Center.
