WHAT: You can help put a smile on the face of a child fighting cancer! Martin and Steve are back for the Third Annual Climb for the Kids! Colorado, the mountains and raising money for children and teens fighting cancer. What could be better? Martin Kisel and his climbing buddy Steve Jackson are going to reach for the peak of Mt. Princeton, one of the most scenic 14ers in Colorado (14,197 ft.) to raise money for children and teens fighting cancer! WHO: They estimate they will take about 30,000 steps round trip during the climb. Can we share this with the world and raise $1 for every step they take? Your support will help buy a lot of toys for these kids to help them smile during this difficult time in their lives. WHEN: Saturday, July 24th WHERE: Mt. Princeton mountain located in the San Isabel National Forest, 7.8 miles southwest of the Town of Buena Vista in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. HOW: How can you help? Donate, donate, donate! Martin and Steve will do the hard part. Your entire donation is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. gofund.me/e1aed41e Donations raised on the GoFundMe platform are sent directly to the Treasure Chest Foundation. WHY: The two previous 'Climb for the Kids' fundraisers raised an impressive $6,485 to benefit brave young cancer patients nationwide. Thanks to that amazing support from our generous donors, this year Martin and Steve are determined to continue the momentum with their climb of Mt. Princeton. As we navigate this "new normal," the needs of the kids we serve do not stop or disappear. We are working hard to make sure that our toy and gift card donations reach the children and teens battling cancer. We appreciate and rely upon the continued support of our generous donors. The funds provided are critical in our ability to drive our mission forward. CONTACT: If you would like further information about the Treasure Chest Foundation or the event, please contact Colleen Kisel at 708-687-TOYS (8697)
