Yard Waste Pickup Delayed In Newport

NEWPORT, RI — Newport residents may have noticed a delay in yard waste pickup this week. Due to staffing issues, Waste Management is running behind, the city said. Residents can still place their yard waste at the curb for pickup on their usual day, the city said, but should expect a one-day delay. "Waste Management staff is working diligently to ensure all collections are made, to include Saturday collections as needed," the city said.
